Barefoot Resort Dye Golf Course will be hosting the 7^th Annual YMCA Golf Classic to raise funds for the Claire Chapin Epps YMCA. The funds provide scholarship assistance for families that cannot afford to pay for a variety of YMCA programs. These programs are made possible through donations and charitable events.

The Tournament Gala will be held Friday, December 3, 2010 at The Dye Club House from 7 pm until 11 pm. There will be a silent auction, dinner, entertainment and drinks during the Gala. Tickets are $100 per couple, $75 per couple with YMCA membership, $60 for individuals and $45 for individuals with a YMCA membership.

There will be a shot gun at 9:30 am on the Dye Golf Course. The entry fee is $800 per four person team. The game will be played in the Texas Scramble Format. Each player receives a deluxe gift bag. There are on course contests and Hole In One competitions.

The Dye Golf Course is always ranked in the top courses to play not just for Myrtle Beach but for the United States. Pete Dye, famous for his use of native grasses and challenging designs wanted the Dye Golf Course at Barefoot Resort to be something that players would not forget. He has succeeded in this goal. It is the perfect setting for this charitable tournament.
